Work

Washington DC on 2913 39th Street NW

This four-story classical Tudor house was built in 1937 and in need of a major renovation. Tucked into a mature quiet area near the National Cathedral, we decided to add an elegant three-story rear addition and upgrade throughout to increase, enhance and update the living space, while maintaining a cohesive overall aesthetic that fits the existing house design and neighborhood.

The extension will allow for a larger kitchen, a first-floor sunroom, an updated master bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and office, as well as an integrated solar roof to power the house. The addition is complemented by integrated landscape design that will open up the rear of the house to a new patio and garden.
